Seattle has a growing number of options for getting around town. The region is investing massively in the Sound Transit Link Light Rail expansion and the Seattle bus can get you to almost any corner of the city. Lyft and Uber rideshares are also an option. Unfortunately bikesare and a scooter shares have been an ongoing challenge for Seattle, but there appears to be a continued committment to make it work.

Washington State Ferries

The ferries around Seattle are run by the Washington State Department of Transportation. Riding the ferry is a great way to kill a few hours by check out the local communities of Bainbridge and Vashon Island for a deeper look into Pacific Northwest culture.
